This medicine is a plant kingdom remedy that is prepared from a poisonous herbaceous plant commonly known as ‘wild hemlock’. Conium is a flowering plant and it belongs to the family of carrots that is the Apiaceae family.

Conium maculatum is also known as the “Balm of Gilead” for disease for diseases of old men, old maids, and women during and after climacteric.

There is burning pain in the neck of the bladder along with the urethra and frequent micturition at night without the ability to retain urine.

Also indicated in haematuria or blood in the urine. A few drops of bright red blood come with the first part of the urine.

Male symptoms

Have went through a lot of articles with regards to this herb, came to a conclusion this morning that I may indeed require some Conium maculatum as I presented a lot of the symptoms, is the infection a fungus or other pathogen, would be interesting to know also dosage for someone around 82kgs. I feel neck and head stiffness while sleeping .During day time my head starts swinging and I lose control of my body movements.This leads to falling down and once I fell on my face down causing a cut on my forehead and it started bleeding. I remain conscious in all such episodes. This causes weakness in me. I try to hold something to avoid falling. I am told it is vertigo and some friends tell me to take conium 200.Please advise if it is the right homeopathic medicine, about dose and any side effects.

    I am 78 yrs old Surgeon. My symptoms are like those of Mr Tek Sharma above except few changes. I repeat them for your information. While trying to walk my head starts swinging and I lose control of my body movements. This leads to falling down. I had one severe fall in Nov 2022 and again in Sept 23. Since then I had several falls and once I fell on my face down causing a bruise on my forehead and severe pain in back of my neck for nearly two weeks. I remain fully conscious in all such episodes. This causes weakness in me. I try to hold something to avoid falling. Nothing has worked for me so far and some friends tell me to take conium 200. Please advise if it is the right homeopathic medicine, about dose and any side effects. Going through the article above, at one place Conium dose is mentioned as once in 7 or 15 days while at other place the same is mentioned as thrice a day. I presume they are for tablets and mother tincture. Pl advise the correct form and dosage if Conium is correct for me to take.
    I must inform you that I am on medication for BPH and aso mild Diabetes.
