Pulsatilla Nigricans (Pulsatilla) is a plant kingdom remedy, a wild plant native to Central Europe and Southern England and grows on a sunny day. It is commonly known as windflower or meadow anemone and belongs to the family Ranunculaceae of the buttercup family.
Pulsatilla is one of the polychrest remedies proved by Dr. Hahnemann, and there is scarcely any disease in which this medicine is not useful. It has a wide range of applications but is only useful when it is indicated.
The medicine is prepared from the tincture of the fresh plant when in flower by adding alcohol to the chopped and pounded pulp. The plant grows in sandy pasture ground, downhill and exposed to the sun. Its flower is bell-shaped, clear violet or pale red, and plumped seeds head.

My son age 40 is suffering from Varicose Vains ( blueish vains in the lower part below the knee). Appears to be initial stage. Pl suggest remedy. Someone suggested Pulsatilla. What potency will work. He is of stout body. Fond of sweets. Can’t tolerate warm climate. Happy in winter.
